March 2023 Newsletter

Takhmao Doulos Church

1. Members who had only attended Sunday services voluntarily requested baptism and are going through the baptism study. We pray they would meet Jesus deeply as their personal saviour and become born again as children of God.

2. We pray that as the members of the congregation celebrate a centenary of the Cambodia mission this year, they would come to know the owner and author of their lives, God better and be filled with faith and the Holy Spirit.

3. Please pray that through worship, they would learn more about God and become filled with faith and the Holy Spirit and serve as a channel of the good news that writes a new chapter in history for the the next generation of saints and the church.

4. The church licence is renewed every two years. The renewal process including all the documentation and inspection by the Ministry of Religion has been successfully completed. With thanks to the Lord who has been with us through the whole process, we pray that the church licence will be renewed soon.

Village Outreach

1. Please pray that the residents who join us for the Children's Worship and Bible Study in Tuol Sonpi Village every Thursday morning would not only get to know Jesus but also realize his love and grow as children of the Lord.

2. We give thanks to God for opening children’s worship service after 4 years of serving Ambelberi Village with a medical mission. Please pray that youth and adult Bible studies may also begin on Wednesday afternoons.

3. Please pray for the health and safety of ministers who travel to the villages by tuk-tuk every week and for them to be filled with joy and thanks in sharing the gospel.

KampongTrea Doulos Church

1. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Kampong Trea Doulos Church members have either moved in search of a job to make a living or worked in factories 7 days a week, and so have been unable to attend the worship service. Please pray they would value Sunday worship as precious as their own lives and keep the Lord's Day well.

2. We pray that the saints would put their hope in the Heavenly Father only and experience victory through faith and obedience in the midst of any hardships. We thank God for restoring the children's Sunday school service and pray that the children would grow up through the Word and prayer.

3. Please pray that the health of Assistant Pastor Purao would be restored so that he may attend to his village outreach mission with no difficulties.
