School Construction

1. Praise God for providing all our needs for window construction through a helping hand. Please pray that the window construction and painting work will be completed before the start of the wet season and we will continue to put our hope and trust in God who will complete the entire school building construction.

2. Please pray that through this HIS school, the souls of many children will be saved and the seeds of the gospel will be planted in their families, and a new generation of God’s workers will be produced.

School

1. Thanks and glory to God for sending us a sufficient number of native Cambodian teachers and native English-speaking teachers. A married couple from the US, Ken and Young, have joined the team.

2. Please pray that the teachers will be sensitive to discern any emotional or psychological needs of children growing up in single-parent families, and the children will become emotionally settled and considerate and loving like Jesus.

3. Mrs Sina will return to teaching after 5 months of sick leave. Missionary Young who has been teaching English has left for her home country, US due to health issues. Please pray for them.

4. Thanks to God for giving students and teachers regular health check ups through a volunteer team of health workers. Please pray that God will protect the health of all the teachers and children.

5. In mid July, a team of specialist ESL (English-asSecond-Language) teachers will come and run an intensive English program. Please pray that the children’s English will be improved and the teachers will also receive good training.

Kindergarten

1. Praise God who has sent young children to the kindergarten. We realise what a blessing is for young children to get to know the Lord and grow in His grace at HIS International School during these important formative years of their development.

2. Please pray for students who are determined to study at our kindergarten despite challenging financial circumstances of their families. Please pray for special consideration of those students and for helping hands for those students.

3. Please pray that through the upcoming Spiritual Seminar (mid May) and Teachers Seminar (mid June), the teachers will be united and realise their calling to provide high quality education to the students. Please pray God will use these seminars to mould the school and teachers to be pleasing instruments of God’s blessing.
