April 2021 Newsletter
Hallelujah,
We give glory, honor, and praise to Jesus for overcoming the power of death! Resurrection of Jesus is our hope and our faith. Greetings to all of you from His Church in Cambodia! May your days always be victorious in the love and power of our heavenly Father!
The number of Coronavirus confirmed cases in Cambodia has soared, that traffic and local movement have been banned. All meetings have now been switched to online services as we have received government notices to hold all religious gatherings and small group meetings at Doulos Church. For members who are not able to join us online we are encouraging them through the phone to continue with their Scripture reading and prayers. It is a time when we are desperately seeking for God’s grace and power upon us.

Prayer Requests:
- Although it is saddening that we cannot all be together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and that many of our members are going through difficult times due to the current situation, we pray that the congregation would remember the Lord who becomes our true hope and strength.
- We pray for the health and safety of all members of the Tahmah Doulos and Kampongtria Doulos churches and the three rural villages we visit every week.
- We pray especially for the members who are not able to join us online due to their circumstances that the Holy Spirit would continue to remind them of their identity that they are children of the living God.
- We are continually praying for missionaries and local ministers to join our church ministry in preaching the Gospel, building the church and raising disciples.
- There is a national holiday in April (Cambodian New Year’s Day) where a large number of people move in and out of regions to visit families in their hometown. Due to the Covid situation the Cambodian government has banned the movement of all citizens this year. We ask for your prayer that people would actively cooperate with the government’s guidelines so that we could all quickly return to our ordinary life
