Shalom!

What are the changes in your life these days as you prepare for the post-corona? HIS Child's children are also unavoidably experiencing many changes these days. Access to the center is prohibited, school is closed, and even visits to your hometown during the holidays have become difficult. Nevertheless, we learn the unchanging love of the Lord who rejoices in the childlike faith when we see the children rejoicing in simple things even in the midst of great suffering. We are praying for God’s wisdom and guidance as we are seeking to find ways to bring appropriate changes to HIS ministries for the post-corona.

Please pray for Bat who will be leaving Daniel Home soon

Bat who has been with us since primary school has been staying at Daniel Home during his studies of electrical engineering at a university. Unfortunately, with just one semester left till graduation Bat has decided to go back to his mother who is sick at home. The classes have been on hold due to Covid-19 and not knowing when the classes would resume exactly, Bat felt that it would be better for him to go back and take care of his sick mother. It’s saddening to see Bat not finishing his studies but we are proud of the difficult decision he has made. Please pray that he would be able to finish his course when the Covid-19 situation gets better and that he would adjust well to the new environment and keep his faith firm in God. Moreover, please pray for all other young adults who have left our group homes after their university studies that they would live up to the calling of being salt and light in the society.

Please pray for the well-being of all the children

It’s the rainy season in Cambodia and that means mosquitoes are everywhere. With much rain and the orphanage being surrounded by sewers, children are exposed to dengue, fever, and mosquitoes. In the past, children have received regular health checks and sufficient supplies of necessary medicines through the service of medical mission teams. Please pray for the health and safety of the children and for Covid-19 to end soon so that we could receive and welcome short-term mission teams again.
