Shalom!

It is our sincere prayer that you would continue to fix your eyes on our Heavenly Father and overcome all the difficulties you may be facing due to Covid-19.

Due to the fear of the spread of Coronavirus the Cambodian government had postponed the New years holiday from May to August 17-21. Kolchenamthmai is a New Year’s Day in Cambodia, which is the biggest holiday in the country. Since the self-isolation of locals returning from foreign countries to visit families may not be followed up strictly we are concerned about the spread of the virus during this holiday season. We have asked the staff members of HIS ministry not to travel long distances so many of them will not be able to spend the New Year’s holiday with their loved ones. We pray for God’s comfort for our staff during this difficult time.

Special prayers are needed for the health and faith of the children and church members at Tahmao and Kampongtria Doulos churches. We are also desperately seeking for more missionaries and local workers to join us in serving these local Doulos churches. Although it is difficult to move between countries due to Covid-19, we know that God sees our needs and will lead us to the best way.

I pray that God, who is the light of the world, would lead you and grant you His peace in your daily lives.

We are thankful that the prayer meetings could continue every Sunday in the school office without any government sanctions. Please pray for our dear staff, Pek-Dai, who is leading the meeting, to continue to grow in her love for God’s Word and to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to do all that she is doing.

Srei Nian and her younger sister Srei Rob who are members at Doulos church are also attending our prayer meetings. Please pray with them as they pray for the health and salvation of their parents and for Srei Rob’s entrance to the school to work out well.
