Shalom! Greetings from Cambodia in the name of Jesus!
As the government’s order for school closure got lifted a little, His International School began classes in small groups of students. Although we are still cautious about many things, the kindergarten and elementary school teachers are working together well and hearing the sound of children on campus after a long time, we realize once again how precious daily life before Covid-19 was. We pray that God would use this time to equip you and our school well for the post-Covid19 time.
Please pray especially for the safety of our children
These are classroom pictures of kindergarten and primary school. We feel bad for the children who have to wear masks at all time and sit distant from each other, but they have been cooperating wonderfully. We are thankful that the children can finally have their classes at school
Please pray for the new and returning students
The 3-year-old class meets twice a week for morning classes, and 4&5-year-old class meets every day for morning classes. 1st graders meet three times a week and 2nd grades meet two times a week. Primary students are reviewing the works they have been doing at home and preparing for moving up to the next grade.
Please pray for more native speaking teachers, kindergarten and primary teachers to join us
We are in need for more teachers to cover lessons for next year and in special need for foreign teachers who are native English speakers. We understand the difficulty of moving to different countries due to Covid-19 these days but we believe and pray that God would send the right missionaries to join our school.
