June 2024 Newsletter

1. Takhmao Doulos Church

1. Even though it is the rainy season in June, the children and the church members are having a hard time as the heat wave continues due to abnormal temperatures. Please pray for God’s protection over their health.

2. There are concerns about the safety of children attending Sunday services due to the speeding of reckless vehicles and motorcycles. Please pray that children will be safe as they walk or ride their bikes to and from church.

3. There is still no full-time minister at the church. Please pray that local ministers and pastoral missionaries would be dispatched as soon as possible so that the children and the church members could receive more teachings, discipleship and be able to participate in evangelism.

4. Children who participate in the weekly Kids Club, are interested in and enjoy Bible memorization and stories. Thankfully, several children attend Sunday services, and there are also parents and grandparents who follow these children. I hope we can start a small gathering for them. Please pray that God would give wisdom, the filling of the Holy Spirit, and good health to missionaries Sopeaup and Kim Chunhwa who serve this ministry.

5. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to work in the hearts of the residents who have been evangelized through Singapore medical service (takes place twice a year) to experience the joy of salvation and have the desire to join the worship.

2. KambongTrea Doulos Church

1. Please pray for the health of children and elderly believers who are suffering due to the sweltering heat wave.

2. Please pray earnestly to send full-time ministers to serve the children and believers and to continue the village Bible study.

3. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to work in the hearts of the residents who have been evangelized through Singapore medical service (takes place twice a year) to experience the joy of salvation and serve at Sunday worship services, thereby bearing the fruit of the gospel.

4. Due to the Mekong Canal Project, some of the churches are included and the entire village will have to relocate. No matter the circumstances, please pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to guide the church and that the members would follow His leading obediently.
