July 2023 Newsletter
Greetings from HIS Cambodia with the grace and peace of the Lord. The Kkamppongtteuri and three rural village congregations came together at Tahmao Dulos Church for a united worship service. Without any restrictions such as social distancing or mask-wearing, we gathered freely in one place to offer a grateful worship to the Almighty, who is the reason for our lives. We also had a blessed time of baptism and communion. Members from five different regions joyfully embraced and affirmed each other's well-being in Christ, testifying to the boundless love of God the Father, who protects us in times of difficulty. Additionally, we had a delightful fellowship time with a communal meal. We’d like to express our deepest gratitude to all of you who support us with earnest prayers.
- Since November of last year, 32 individuals have completed an eight-month baptism education and have made a decision to live as followers of Jesus. We pray for the growth of these 14 young people who have chosen to forsake the sins of the world, obey God, and live a disciple's life, following and serving the Lord faithfully throughout their lives. We pray for Roat, Paul, Niyot, Yeyon, Balang, Banna, Kwan, Maimai, Him, Zhan Meng Zhen, Wannar, Tin Tin, Slaibun, and Dana.
- We served and evangelized through the medical ministry together with the medical team at Kkamppongtteuri Dulos Church. We pray that the neighboring residents who have encountered the gospel may realize the love of Jesus and receive His grace as their Savior. - We earnestly pray that the members who are unable to attend worship due to working on Sundays would learn the importance of worship. Please pray that through Sunday worship, they may come to know the gracious Lord and experience spiritual wellbeing, leading to blessings and resilience in all aspects of their lives.
- Please pray for the members who have left for the city in search of employment that they would place their hope solely in God the Father, and that they may attend worship in a nearby church. May their faith grow even in the midst of any difficulties they encounter, and may they not lose their faith.
- We pray that the residents participating in the village fellowship in Tulseonpi may come to know Jesus Christ as the way, the truth, and the life, and grow as children of the Lord.
- We pray for the safety and health of the missionaries who travel to the village each week on Tuktuk, and we pray that they may be filled with joy and gratitude as they share the gospel.
