Mobile Drop in Center

A child cannot choose a parent. If a child is born to a homeless family, the poverty is passed down naturally to the child, since it’s very likely that the child would follow the lifestyle of his or her parents. It breaks our hearts to see these innocent young children being happy just to be with their parents, despite living on the street exposed to various dangers, putting their innocence at risk.

Although there are different NGOs seeking to help these families, the children are still exposed to prostitution and other crimes in barren street life as their parents are usually addicted to different types of drugs that lead to child neglect.

1. We are grateful that we are given the opportunity to meet with them on a regular basis so that these children can be treated like a normal child at least once a week and have the chance to worship God hear the good news.

2. Children from slums in the city are living in a poor environment with a mixture of filth and garbage due to the rainy season. Even dengue fever is spreading from waterborne infectious diseases such as typhoid. Please pray for their health and protection from various infectious diseases.

3. We need 300 donors to donate 10,000 won a month to provide bread, soy milk, medicine and underwear to homeless children and children from poor areas of the city. Through the help of our donors, it’s our prayer that these children would grow up well in the grace of the Lord without losing hope even in a difficult environment.

Children Center

HIS CHILD, which is an NGO that does relief missionary work for children in crisis, was able to re-sign an MOU with the Cambodian government’s Ministry of Social Welfare. I want to express my gratitude to all of you for partnering with me in prayers. It’s the power of the prayer that has made this possible.

1. Children’s sleeping areas often get flooded during the rainy season. It creates much inconvenience for everyone in the Center, but children regard it as a daily routine, scooping up water from the kitchen and living room, washing the mud, and disinfecting. Please pray for the health of our children.

2. Please pray for teenagers who are undergoing the third dose of the vaccine to have no side effects, and for high school students who are easily exposed to drugs at public schools to discern well and make right decisions based on the teachings of the Bible.

3. Please pray that the funds needed to prepare the students for the new school semester would be provided (uniforms - 15,000 won each; food - 30,000 won per child and 30 children total). Please pray that the children would have three meals a day in a safe environment and be able to prepare themselves for the future through the love of God. And through experiencing that love during their young age, it’s our prayer that they would also become channels of God’s love and his good news to others around them.
