HIS Cambodia is a mission organization dedicated to work for children in crisis (HISCHILD.NGO), church ministry (HIS Church), Christian school (HIS School), and etc. There are 20 local staff and 5 missionaries from 3 different countries serving as a team. We would love for you to pray for us so that we, who have been greatly blessed with the joy of salvation, could continue to grow in understanding and reflecting the character of our Jesus and be used well as the channel of the Gospel.

Local Staff:

As there is a shortage of staff we are continually praying that God would send more staff to join us. Meanwhile, local staff and missionaries are working together, putting their best effort to serve the nation.

Some of my supporters and supporting churches are very concerned that I am still in the mission field. My children, back at home, are especially worried about my health with the outbreak of the Coronavirus. However, the God who has been faithful with me for the past 19 years is still present with me, and I am still experiencing the same faithfulness of God the Father who walks with me and protects me every day.

- Please pray for protection from the coronavirus, and the shingles to be cured, and for me to maintain good health so that I could give my best in my service.
- Please pray for my children in England and Malaysia to live in peace and and for my young grandchildren to grow up healthy.
- Due to family matters, I plan to go back home for a while in November. Please pray that the family meeting would go smoothly with the wisdom of God and for a safe return to Cambodia.
- Currently, I am serving HIS Child ministry and doing administrative work so that the various ministries in Cambodia could cooperate in unity. Please pray for one more staff, experienced in administration, to join me for stability in this ministry.

When I first entered Cambodia, I was diagnosed with Omicron on the plane. I was transferred from the airport to an isolation facility and spent two weeks with a large number of Cambodians and a small number of foreigners, allowing me to naturally get to know Cambodia. I believe that this time was a special opportunity prepared by the Lord. I hope that as I spend time learning the language, Cambodian etiquette and culture, I would be able to get to know the heart of God for this nation.

- I am happy to teach English in HIS School. Please pray that I would be able to share the love of Christ to the class and share the gospel to the parents and families of the students.
- Please pray for God’s healing over the arthritis pain in my palms and knees, protection from any disease due to the bronchial asthma I have, and for safety when riding a bicycle to and from the school.
- I thank God for the improvement in the students’ English. Please pray for more native English teachers to join us to enhance the english education in the school.

By the grace of our heavenly Father, my father is doing well while receiving chemotherapy, and my mother who’s taking care of my father is also doing well. Thank you for your prayers. End of school exams and school camp also went well. I look forward to working with other teachers as we plan to meet our new students.
- Running a school requires a lot of wisdom. Please pray that I would be filled with the Holy Spirit to carry out the ministry with wisdom and joy.
- Please pray for restoration of the strength and health of my elderly parents back at home. - Please pray for my health as I sometimes suffer from serious stomach cramps.

I was diagnosed with Coronavirus and was quarantined for 2 weeks with high fever and pain. How grateful I was to finally see “one line” on my 5th test kit. I had to prepare for the upcoming graduation and closing ceremonies and missed my kindergarteners so much. Through this time, I realized again how precious it is to live with the community that genuinely cares and prays for you.

- Although I am free from quarantine, my strength hasn’t been back to its normal state and my sense of smell and taste haven’t returned. Please pray for a quick restoration of my health.
- Please pray for my father whose physical strength fell sharply after suffering from coronavirus a month ago.
- Please pray for wisdom as I serve as a teacher in the kindergarten and for our students to progress well to elementary school.

I am filled with gratitude every time I meet the ones who have grown up from our orphanages that have settled well in the society, maintaining a stable and independent life as young adults. However, there are still some young people who are wandering and not settling well. It’s my prayer that they would meet their true Father in heaven and be able to enjoy the blessings of the Lord.

- I give thanks to God for giving me strength to tolerate the increasing pain in my body.
- Please pray that we would fix our eyes on God and not on the circumstances and live the life of obedience.
- Please pray that I would be the channel for God’s work by always being thankful, praying without ceasing and rejoicing always.
