Greetings in the name of our God!

The Cambodian Ministry of Education has announced that all public schools will be able to attend classes for all grades starting in November. Although it was rather a sudden announcement, His School is attempting face-to-face classes in small groups every other day, and is planning to gradually allow all students to attend. For the safety of His School, which consists of mainly kindergarten and lower grade students, we pray for Lord’s protection more earnestly than ever as the school will be starting soon.

Primary School

- The students that are attending the school in small groups started the new school year and the new semester with a worship service to God. One of the students’ parents was a pastor so we had the privilege of having him come in and pray for the children and the upcoming school year. It was a blessed time for all of us. In the past year, the academic performance of the school wasn’t quite satisfying due to the situation with Covid19. We are praying that this upcoming year would be a year of growth in health, mind and academics.

- Please pray for new students enrolled in the first year to adapt well to school life and programs and grow into students who come to know the love of Jesus.

- Please pray that God would send more local teachers as the elementary school needs local teachers for each class. Also, please pray for Julianne and Kathie, who will be coming from the United States, to enter Cambodia safely and to adapt well to life and work in Cambodia.

Kindergarten

- Kindergarten students graduated last September. It was a grateful time that we were able to have the graduation service despite the corona situation. We pray that as they enter elementary school and grow in their age, their faith and wisdom would also grow through the grace of the Lord.

- It is our prayer that the families of kindergartens and graduate students pre-paring for the opening ceremony would stay safe and protected from the virus.

- Please pray that the new semester’s 3 year old class registration goes well and that new teachers are hired.

Resumption of School Construction

- We need to restart the school construction as the school construction must be completed before the current students graduate from elementary school. Please pray that we can meet a good company and start with partial construction that can be covered with our current circumstances.

- We thank the Lord for providing specialists to assist in the construction company selection process, and we pray that he would also send specialists to assist during the construction process.

- Please pray with us as we are desperately asking God for the finances necessary for the completion of the building.
