MAY 2020 Newsletter

Shalom!
I pray for God’s peace to be with you all during this difficult time of uncertainty and confusion with the Covid-19 situation. The government policy that banned all religious meetings has been changed to allow meetings of less than 10 people from May. Local staff were able to gather for praise and worship and to have a time of fellowship.

Prayer Requests:

1. Please pray for Holy Spirit filled time as the local staff gather for worship and prayer meetings.
2. Please pray for the members of Takmah Dulos and Kampongtrio Durlos Churches to persevere and stand firm in their faith while not being able to meet as the church.
3. Please pray for God’s comfort and strength to be with the local staff to not give up on their calling as they are struggling with finances and unpredictable future due to the Covid-19 situation.
4. Please pray for the wisdom and power of the Lord as one of our local staff, Pakkedai, prepares and preaches the Word without being discouraged by the current circumstances.
5. Please pray for the quick end to the Covid-19 situation so that we could meet as the church and worship God together again

As only meetings of less than 10 people are allowed we are now meeting at the hall of HIS School to worship, pray and share the Word while keeping distance from one another. We prayed for Sokri who is close to giving birth to her child soon. Omsoen and Purao are meeting to pray for the church members and check on them through phone calls.

For the Mother’s Day in May, we had a time of thanking and blessing our staff who are mothers. Please pray for Sokri, Banak, Sida, Tari, and Ommau that they would reflect God’s heart and serve their family with God’s wisdom and love.
