March 2020 Newsletter

Shalom!

It is my sincere prayer that God would protect you and your family from Corona virus and that He would strengthen you to overcome any difficulties you may be facing due to the virus. Schools in Cambodia have also been closed as the virus has been spreading around the nation. We are praying for God’s protection and healing power over the nation as the hospitals here are not equipped to treat the patients with the virus.

Prayer Requests:

1. Children Center (the orphanage)

- Chanoon and Chanin brothers have returned to their relatives after being away from them for 10 years. Please pray for their adjustments.

- There are four children waiting to join the Children Center. Please pray for the smooth process.

- Please pray for the safety of all the children that are required to stay home due to the spreading of the virus.

2. Mobile Drop in Center (bus ministry)

- Please pray for the volunteers, Banak, Teng, Socam and Tamtam, that they would stay protected from the virus as they continue to minister street children on the bus.

- Please pray for God’s protection over the slum and homeless children.

- Please pray for us to be able to provide masks and sanitizers to the children we meet.

3. Daniel Home (Home for the university students)

- Bat and Riot are on their last semester of the university studies. Please pray that they would finish the race well and be equipped to start their career in the society.

- Panya, who has graduated with a degree in agriculture, is currently working as an English teacher due to some difficulties in finding a job in the area she desires. Please pray that she would be able to use her passion and skills to contribute to the agricultural development in Cambodia.

- Kongkia who grew up in Children Center and in Daniel Home during the past 20 years has started his career as an electrician. Please pray that God would be with him in this new season of his life.
