Teaching the Word, Changing the World

We would like to say a big thank you to all our supporters for joining us in prayers and in worship of the one rue God, who bestows amazing grace so that the school can operate every year.

The construction of Prekho School

• The ordered tiles are on their way, and we will soon begin the tiling work. It is expected to be completed around early next year. We praise God, who has been with us in every step of the way, and we are grateful to our supporters who have been serving as a channel of supply.

• Next year, the enrollment for middle school will begin. Before enrollment, the completion of various tasks such as electrical wiring, plumbing, ceilings, civil engineering, and wall construction is necessary. Please pray that God would supply all the needs.

Kindergarten

• We had a kindergarten graduation ceremony at the end of September. We are grateful that the children who have completed two years of Christian early childhood education from the age of 4 can now all enter elementary school. We earnestly pray that these children, who have grown through the Word and prayer, would continue to discover the love of the Lord and become seeds of the Gospel in their homes.

• We pray that the new students entering would adapt well to the small community and that teachers would care for them with love and patience.

• Sharla has joined as the English teacher for the kindergarten. We pray for a quick and a peaceful adjustment for Sharla to her new living and working environment.

• We pray that God would send us teachers who would lovingly care for 4 and 5-year-old children.

Primary School

• The 2023-24 school term began in October, and for the first time this year, we now have students from grades one to six. Despite various challenges, we praise the grace of the Lord that has been poured out, allowing the school to operate for the past 6 years.

• We wish and pray that through daily chapel sessions, all students would come to know Jesus more, and that as their bodies and minds grow, their faith would also grow strong.

• We pray for the development of programs for recruiting and training local teachers.

• We are in need of more native English speaking teachers and especially the teachers who could teach extracurricular subjects. Please also pray for Kathie, who temporarily returned to her home country due to family circumstances. We pray for her safe return.
