July 2022 Newsletter

I'm sure all of us have experienced one of those unexpected yet exquisite grace of the Lord during the time of trouble. As if to test our faith, God often reveals how much we trust in His timing through different circumstances in our lives. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit.
God is pleased when we persevere. We hope that HIS School would become a deep-rooted school that pleases the Lord by producing abundant spiritual fruits of perseverance.
Please join us in prayer as we hope to see the school grow in the ways God wants it to be.

Prayers requests from the school

- As students’ academic attitudes and concentration improve, their grades are also improving. Please pray that through the school we would grow in our faith in God’s Word that says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.

- There are students who want to study at HIS School, but have to drop out due to the burden of tuition. We pray that the school would be able to provide scholarships to low-income students.

- Please pray that the school and all the teachers would be one in spirit to love the students and also for the hiring of local teachers to join our team.

- Teacher Rowat and Sina successfully completed the teacher training program they started in April. It was not easy to work and study for three months, but we are thankful that they were able to finish it safely and pray that they would become wise and loving teachers.

- Please pray that the Lord would intervene in the partnership with the Rocklin School in the USA so that our school would become a school that teaches the Word and nurtures the children, and also that professionals in education would participate in the school ministry for a more efficient and systematic education system to take place.

Prayer requests from the Kindergarten

- There are many children enrolled in the middle of the semester due to the corona pandemic. Although school started late, we pray for the wisdom and patience of teachers so that children can adjust well to kindergarten life and teachers can guide young children with the love of the Lord.

- It’s our prayer that the parents would be well connected to the kindergarten to provide proper education for children as they gain more understanding about early childhood education.

- With the onset of the rainy season, many children are sick due to the hot weather and rain. Please pray for the children’s health and safety.

- Teacher Niyuk gave birth to a healthy baby girl and returned to kindergarten in July. Please pray for the health of the baby and the family taking care of the baby at home, and for Niyuk to have a smooth readjustment to teaching again.

- Please continue to pray for the recruitment of new teachers to join us.

Prayer requests from the School Construction

- It’s our hope and prayer that the school construction that is being carried out according to the grace of our God would naturally broaden the scope of gospel preaching and strengthen our faith.

- After completing the concrete work on the 3rd floor, which started in January of this year, we are working on the roof tiles, septic tank, underground water tank and aboveground water pump room. Due to the rainy season, the construction period has been extended. We pray that the construction proceeds safely.

- Starting in August, we are preparing for exterior work such as masonry, plastering, ductwork, windows, and paint. Please pray for us that all the necessary funds would be provided.
